Monday Morning Musings

Happy Canada Day to one and all. I would like to congratulate my daughter, Margaret and her new husband, D.J. Conway who tied the knot on Sunday the 30th. It rained all day in Halifax which was a bit of a drag because we were planning an outdoor wedding. Miraculously, about a half an hour before the ceremony, the skies cleared, the rain stopped and we were able to have the wedding in ideal conditions. Moments after the last picture was taken, it started to rain again.
Ok. Now that we have the important stuff dealt with, I am about to jump into shark infested waters. Tomorrow I will be releasing a brand new story… wait for this… about bras. No man in his right mind should tackle this delicate subject. You draw your own conclusions.
I am also going to tackle a serious story sometime soon. I was sitting at the 24 hour McDonald’s at 5:30 this morning doing the N.Y.Times crossword puzzle. I struck up a conversation with a young chap in his twenties who has been working for the franchise for five years. He is concerned about the plight of people his age. He is making just enough to pay his bills but worries about the economy in this region. It was 20 minutes well spent.
I really should have done a top 25 for the wedding reception waltzes. I’m still getting suggestions.
Have a great day and see you Tuesday in the lingerie section!
